Dakota - 1974/1982 to 2-7-08 We were blessed to have Dakota with us for 14 years. Always graceful, so well behaved, a true gentleman, and boss horse to the end. Dakota got us back into horses and we were able gave him a great retirement. Dakota is now where the pastures are always green and the sun always shines. |

This is one of my favorite images This is Dakota at Emminence Missouri in 2000. That year he was the only horse we took for the two of us to ride. He took great care of Larry who was relatively inexperienced at the time, and there was no quit in him even with being ridden almost every day. |
